Hello, I’m Halimah — Hali works too!
I grew up between Brunei and England before studying Studio Art at Hamilton College and eventually settling down in Brooklyn. I’ve always loved making things and collecting visual references from the people, places and everyday details around me. That curiosity still shapes everything I create.
I’m the artist behind Unofficial Halimah, a NYC-based illustration practice bringing art and personality to weddings, brand events and celebrations. My work ranges from live guest portraits and custom stationery to painted tablecloths, illustrated maps, event logos and the delightfully specific ideas that don’t fit neatly into a category.
Client work includes Nike, Adobe, Meta, TikTok, Barry’s, Morning Brew, Ramp.
